1. Confirm Your Business Time Zone Setting
Click on the App Drawer and navigate to Setup > Locations > Time Zone to verify that your business's time zone is set correctly.
If your business is in a region that observes Daylight Savings Time, ensure it’s set to reflect this (e.g., “Daylight Time” vs. “Standard Time”). This setting allows your schedule to automatically adjust when Daylight Savings Time changes.
2. Review Client Time Zone Adjustment Setting
Click on the App Drawer and navigate to Setup > Business > Business Policies > Time Zone and check the Allow clients to adjust time zone setting.
Businesses That Offer Virtual Services
If you have clients joining from different time zones around the world, enabling this option will allow them to view your schedule in their own preferred time zones. Be mindful, though, as this setting can occasionally cause misunderstandings if clients aren’t aware of the time zone your business is operating in.
Tip: If you enable client time zone adjustments, it’s a good idea to communicate your business’s primary time zone to help clients avoid potential scheduling errors, especially during transitions between Daylight and Standard Time.
Businesses That Don’t Offer Virtual Services
Disabling this setting means all clients will see your schedule based on your business’s time zone, which helps avoid confusion, especially if clients are local or in the same time zone as your business. If you do not offer virtual services, we recommend toggling this setting off.
