Create, modify, or duplicate an event
Updated this week

You can create, modify, or duplicate different events to offer specific events to your clients through WellnessLiving. Additionally, you can modify an existing event to change specific details, such as the description, cost, or location where the event session is offered.

Key tips before you begin

  • Purchase Options can only be associated with active events.

  • Once a non-block event (where clients can book individual sessions) is created and scheduled, it cannot be changed to a block event (where clients must book all sessions). This is because individual bookings and block bookings follow different pricing rules. If you need a block event, create a new one with the correct purchase rule.

  • Discount codes for classes can also apply to individual sessions in non-block events.

  • Events can span multiple days if allowed by the business's open hours. Padding time for services may extend into the next day if necessary. For more details, see Setting a location’s business hours.

Create, modify, or duplicate an event

  1. Click the App Drawer button then click View All > Setup > Services > Events.

  2. On the Events page create, modify, or duplicate an event:

    • To create a new event, click ADD EVENT.

    • To modify an existing event, click the event you want to modify. You may have to browse the list, use the Search option, or filter the list to find the event.

    • To duplicate an existing event, click the event you want to duplicate. You may have to browse the list, use the Search option, or filter the list to find the event. On the bottom-right, click DUPLICATE. The event is duplicated and named Copy of [name of existing Event]. You can now modify the newly duplicated event and schedule its instances as a new event.

  3. Enter or change the details and settings of the event. For more information, see Event settings.

  4. Click SAVE to save the event for later scheduling, or SAVE AND SCHEDULE to proceed with scheduling the event.
