Introductory offers are used to attract new or prospective clients to visit your business and try your services. You can provide introductory offers to new or prospective clients through Purchase Options.

Key tips before you begin

  • Introductory offers are only visible to new clients who haven't made a purchase or attended a service. Other clients won't see the offer.

  • Only one introductory offer can be claimed per client profile. An error message will appear if a client attempts to add more than one to their cart.

  • If a staff member tries to add an introductory offer for an ineligible client, a warning message appears. They must confirm before proceeding.

  • When a client’s introductory offer Purchase Option expires and they no longer own any passes or memberships, their client type is automatically changed to Prospect.

Create an introductory offer

To create an introductory offer Purchase Option, follow these steps:

  1. Click the App Drawer button then click View All > Setup > Store Configuration > Purchase Options.

  2. On the Purchase Options page, create a new Purchase Option separately for your introductory offer.

  3. Under Purchase Restrictions in Advanced Settings, select Introductory offer for new clients only.

  4. Click Save.
