Introductory offers are used to attract new or prospective clients to visit your business and try your services.
An attractive introductory offer helps turn first-time visitors into long-term clients. By offering a special deal, like 25% off your first class, a 7 Day Free Trial membership, or a 3 session for $30 package, you make it easier for new clients to experience what makes your business great. You can provide introductory offers to new or prospective clients through Purchase Options.
Introductory offers are only visible to new clients who haven't made a purchase and only one introductory offer can be claimed per client profile. However, in Enterprise Businesses, clients may be eligible to purchase introductory offers at different Enterprise Locations. Enterprise Businesses can decide how they want this to work:
When OFF, each Enterprise Location operates independently and can offer its own introductory promotion which is perfect for businesses that want flexibility.
When ON, introductory offers are shared across all Enterprise locations, meaning a client can only redeem an offer once company-wide. This encourages connectedness and consistency across your Enterprise Locations.
To restrict introductory offers to a one-time purchase across all Enterprise Locations, contact WellnessLiving Support.
What makes a great introductory offer
A great introductory offer lowers the barrier for new clients to try your business while motivating them to return. The type of offer you choose depends on your goals and audience.
Each of these examples make it easy for new clients to try, experience, and ultimately convert into loyal members.
Offer Type | Example | Why Choose It |
Time-based | 7 days of unlimited classes | Encourages quick engagement and lets clients explore your full schedule. Great for studios with multiple class types. |
Limited visits | 3 visits for $30 | Creates urgency and introduces clients to your best classes or services. Works well for businesses that want to highlight their most popular services. |
Free first visit | First class or session free | Removes cost hesitation for first-timers. Ideal when your service experience sells itself. |
Discounted first month | 50% off first month | Converts clients already interested into paying members. Best for businesses with strong retention programs. |
