Create, modify, or duplicate a package
Updated this week

You can create, modify, or duplicate different packages to offer specific bundles of items to your clients through WellnessLiving. Each package can be adjusted to offer clients the exact combination of items they need at the price you set.

After creating and selling a package, you can make changes to its settings, which will affect all packages of that type sold in the future and all previously sold versions of that package.

⚠️Caution⚠️

  • Avoid making major changes without notifying affected clients. When you modify the settings of a Purchase Option, the changes will apply to all clients who currently own it. For example, if a membership allows four visits per week and you change it to three, current holders will now be limited to three visits per week.

  • Global changes made to Purchase Options can’t be undone automatically, and WellnessLiving Support can’t reverse the changes you’ve made. Unwanted changes must be manually reverted.

Key tips before you begin

  • A package can’t contain more than 500 items.

  • You can't create a package with the same name as an existing one. If using a deactivated package's name, we recommend renaming the deactivated package.

  • If a client’s package is modified, it appears as a new transaction on the client’s Transactions page. The new transaction may take several hours to appear after the package is modified.

  • If a shared membership or session pass is included in a package, it won’t be shared upon renewal. To continue sharing, you must manually share it from the package owner's profile.

  • To avoid double billing for memberships or session passes in auto-renewing packages, follow these steps:

    • To auto-renew everything in a package, go to the package's settings, set the package to auto-renew, and disable auto-renewal for each membership or session pass included in it.

    • For a specific Purchase Option to auto-renew, go to that Purchase Option's settings, set it to renew automatically, and disable auto-renewal for the package by selecting Do nothing under After Expiration and Does not expire under Expiration.

  • Session passes and memberships in a package inherit the package's start date, but you can adjust their start dates separately. For more details, see Session pass general information settings and Membership general settings.
