It takes four to six weeks on average to complete the Presence onboarding process. The timelines provided below can vary depending on your website requirements. For more information, see FAQ: Presence Websites.
Caution: Don’t cancel your current subscription on your own—we won’t be able to move your content over to Presence if you do.
1. The kickoff call
Time to complete: 45 to 60 minutes
The Presence kickoff call is about 45 to 60 minutes long and will take place over a video call administrated by your Presence Coordinator. During the call, we’ll discuss the requirements for your Presence website such as color scheme, required pages, credentials for your website, as well as set a target launch date for your website. Please join through a laptop or computer for a better experience, as this will be a screen share meeting.
2. Preparing the website content
Time to complete: one week
After the kickoff call, we’ll send you a link to a OneDrive folder that we’ll use to prepare your new website. This OneDrive folder contains a series of Microsoft Word files with instructions and templates you need to fill out.
If you have an existing website, we can move your text and images to your Presence website. You can also include additional content for your Presence website by adding those details to your assigned OneDrive folder.
If you want us to build you a brand new website, you’ll be assigned a OneDrive folder that contains various subfolders and Word files for each page of your Presence website. Each Word file outlines specific requirements for that page that you can follow to add content to your website.
It’s important to add all the required information to your OneDrive folder as soon as possible so that we can meet the target launch date for your website.
Note: Descriptions for services, Purchase Options and the public biographies of staff members will be pulled from your WellnessLiving business account.
3. Building a mockup design
Time to complete: one week
Once we have all the required content in OneDrive, we can begin building a mockup design for your Presence website. Our design team will use your brand colors and information shared in OneDrive to build the design accordingly. Once the design is ready, we’ll schedule a design review meeting with you to get it approved.
4. Building the website
Time to complete: one to two weeks
Once the design is approved, we can begin building your Presence website. After the initial build, we’ll review the overall layout, make minor corrections, and share the staging website for your review.
5. Reviewing the website
Time to complete: one week
When the website is complete, you’ll receive an email containing a temporary URL for your Presence website. This URL will allow you to navigate through your site as if it were live. Please take this time to review the overall layout and website launch review checklist below to make sure all information is accurate. You can also take note of any changes you want to make. Our team is always happy to jump on a follow-up call to go over these changes and implement them as soon as possible.

Do not share the temporary URL with your clients. This version of your website is for review purposes only.
The temporary URL is linked to your WellnessLiving account and allows you to access the live client booking flow. Do not attempt to complete a service booking or a purchase using the temporary URL.
6. Launching the website
When all revisions are complete, we’ll officially schedule the launch date for your Presence website. On the launch date, our team will make the required changes to connect your existing domain name such as www.example.com to your Presence website.
