Staff members can assign a unique identification number to a client’s profile. You can choose to create a custom ID, generate a random ID, or link a client’s ID with their key tags or cards.
Clients with an assigned client ID can scan the barcode on their key tag, card, or Achieve Client App to check in to services via the Client Self Check-in Web App that is attached to a barcode scanner.
Key tips
You can’t use the same client ID for multiple clients within your business.
You can have client IDs automatically generated for new clients by setting the Automatically generate client IDs for new clients option to ON in your business policy settings for clients.
Client IDs must consist of only alphanumeric characters.
Client IDs are unique throughout all franchise locations within a business. Client IDs can carry over between franchise locations.
Create a custom client ID
To create a custom client ID:
Click the Search
button,
Hover your cursor over the Client ID field.
Click the Edit
button.
Enter a unique ID for the client.
Click the Confirm
button.
Generate an ID number for a client
To generate an ID number for a client:
Click the Search
button, enter the client’s information, and click their name to access their client profile.
Hover your cursor over the Client ID field.
Click the Generate ID
button. If the client has an existing client ID, click OK in the confirmation popup.
Generate ID numbers for multiple clients
To generate ID numbers for multiple clients:
Open the App Drawer
then click View All > Clients.
Select the checkbox beside each client you want to generate client IDs for.
To select all clients in the list, click the Select all records from all pages checkbox.
At the top right corner of the screen, click the Action
button then select Generate Client ID.
Existing ID numbers won’t be overwritten. To generate new ID numbers for clients with existing IDs, you must generate them individually.
Link a client's ID to the barcode on a client's key tag or card
To link a client’s ID to the barcode on a client’s key tag or card:
Click the Search
button, enter the client’s information, and click their name to access their client profile.
Hover your cursor over the Client ID field.
Click the Edit
button.
Scan the physical barcode on the client’s key tag or card using your barcode scanner.
Click the Confirm
button.
