Merchant Processing

Updated this week

Understanding merchant processing

Merchant processing lets you accept credit or debit card payments from clients' with funds deposited directly into your business's bank account.

Merchant processing is available through WellnessLiving by using an associated merchant processor via a gateway. A gateway communicates the approval or denial of transactions between you and your customers.

What you can do with merchant processing

Merchant processing gives you more time and flexibility when it comes to selling your services and products.

  • Allows you to take credit and/or debit payments through WellnessLiving.

  • Groups transactions into batches, which are submitted for processing at the end of each business day.

Getting started with merchant processing

Before you can start processing transactions at your business, follow these steps:

  1. Submit an application – You must submit an application to a merchant processor. To process automatic payments Automated Clearing House (ACH) is required.

  2. Complete the setup – After receiving the merchant processor’s approval, the Merchant Processing team at WellnessLiving will help you complete your merchant processing setup.

  3. Start making sales – Clients can begin purchasing your services or products using their credit card or debit card.
