Understanding receipts
After every purchase, an invoice receipt is generated by the WellnessLiving system. These receipts can be printed or emailed to the client who purchased them at any time.
There are four types of receipts in WellnessLiving:
Tip receipt – A receipt that indicates a tip amount, printed during checkout for a client.
Purchase receipt – A receipt sent to the client when they make a purchase.
Sales receipt – A receipt sent to the customer when a staff member processes a sale on behalf of the customer.
Visit receipt – A receipt specific to appointments that can act as either an invoice for unpaid appointments or a receipt for paid appointments. Contains a detailed summary of the appointment’s details, including custom text fields from the staff member who performed the service. This can be used to display regulatory information on a visit receipt, such as a massage therapist’s license number.
What you can do with receipts
Email receipts to your clients after completing sales transactions.
Print receipts for your clients to provide a physical record of a sale.
Add custom text or notes to your receipts to add additional info, promotional offers, or your business slogan.

Changes made to the text or variables included in email notifications won’t be reflected on printed receipts.
