Set up your business policies
Updated over a week ago

Business policies play a crucial role in determining the day-to-day operations of your business. For instance, a business policy can influence how appointments are scheduled or how waitlists are managed, thereby shaping the behaviour and outcomes desired by your business. You can set up your business’s policies for activities like bookings, cancellations, or wait lists that apply to all your services, clients, and staff members. You may also customize business policies for individual services.

For a thorough guide on business policies and use cases, check out our WellnessLiving Onboarding 101 Workbook.

Set up your business policies

To set up your business policies in WellnessLiving:

  1. Click the App Drawer > View All > Setup.

  2. In the Setup menu, click Business > Business Policies.

  3. In the Business Policies page, set up your business policies within the different categories.

  4. Click Save.

Note: Please allow 10-15 minutes for any updates to your business policies to take effect. Any changes made to business policies that involve payment will only impact the services you book moving forward. Services booked before the updates will use the original business policies that were in place when they were booked.

Below is an overview of the different business policy categories. For detailed descriptions of the various settings, see business policy settings.
