ClassPass is a monthly membership program that can be integrated with WellnessLiving. After you enable ClassPass integration with WellnessLiving, clients can begin booking your services through ClassPass.
To ensure that you never experience issues with the way your services are listed on ClassPass, check that the services you want to display on ClassPass follow the rules outlined below.
Show services on ClassPass
To allow clients to book your services through ClassPass, you must ensure that the CLASSPASS option is set to ON in the advanced settings when you create appointments or classes.
To auto-display classes on ClassPass, enable AutoSync on your ClassPass Partner Dashboard. Without AutoSync, you'll need to manage class listings manually. For more information, see What is AutoSync for Fitness? on the ClassPass website.
If you want to integrate both appointments and classes with ClassPass, reach out to your ClassPass representative to set up a separate dashboard for each service type. Your ClassPass representative will request the information needed for each of your dashboards.
Booking lengths
ClassPass only displays appointment bookings with durations of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes. If your business has appointments with different durations, such as 20, 45, or 90 minutes, they won’t be bookable through ClassPass.
Capacity
To adjust how many spots are allocated to ClassPass users for each of your services, use the ClassPass Partner Dashboard. For more information, see What is the Partner Dashboard? on the ClassPass website.
Staff members
ClassPass doesn’t support multiple instructors for a service. When a service with multiple staff members in WellnessLiving is synced to ClassPass, the instructor field in ClassPass will display No Staff Specified.
Cancellation policies
Cancellation policies for your business are configured on ClassPass during the initial setup. These policies are separate from your business’s cancellation policies in WellnessLiving, but the policies should always match as closely as possible.
ClassPass allows clients to cancel up to 12 hours before a session without a penalty. Cancellations made within 12 hours are marked as Late Cancel and incur a fee. For example, if a client cancels 13 hours before the session, no cancellation fee applies on ClassPass.
When a ClassPass user books a service, they pay ClassPass, which then pays your business. Late fees are also handled by ClassPass. To avoid double billing or booking issues, ClassPass users won’t be penalized in WellnessLiving for late cancellations or no-shows.
