To create a Power Search, click the App Drawer and click Reports, then open any report and find the Power Search panel on the left.

Understanding Power Search

Discover the magic of Power Search! It lets you easily filter the clients you see in your client list and any reports that contain client data by setting up custom search criteria. What’s great is that these custom searches can be saved for later use and shared with your team. Power Searches serve as a one-time filter to view different segments of clients.

Power Searches aren’t just limited to client lists and reports; they also play a crucial role when creating client groups. When creating a client group from the Client Groups page, you can create the criteria clients must meet to belong to the group and set the client group to be automatically updated every day.

What can you do with Power Search?

The power doesn’t stop there. Once you’ve filtered your client list or report using Power Search, you can take further actions like:

  • Segmenting clients into age brackets with various attendance reports. (Video)

  • Segmenting clients by the Purchase Option they own within various reports. (Video)

  • Segmenting clients by their home location with the Expiring Purchase Options Report. (Video)

  • Segmenting clients by if they have a credit card on file with the Membership Report. (Video)

Getting started with Power Search

  1. Create a Power Search in any report with client data to get started.

  2. Specify your criteria for the search.

  3. Choose if you want to share the Power Search with Everyone, Only Me, or Selected Staff Roles.

  4. Click Save.

You have the list of clients, now what?

  1. You can contact them. Check out Contacting a group of clients.

  2. You can add clients to specific groups. Learn all about Adding and removing clients from a client group.

  3. You can export data. Export data easily with Exporting a report.
