Process a test transaction using a Bluetooth card reader

For first-time users, you must process a test transaction to confirm that the credit card mobile reader is working as expected. For more information, see Using your card reader.

Process a test transaction using a Bluetooth card reader

To process a test transaction using a Bluetooth card reader, complete the following:

  1. If the card reader is connected to your device, you must unpair the reader from the list of connected devices.

  2. Reset the credit card mobile reader by pressing the push button for about 10 seconds. Once the LED light indicator begins flashing red, release the button.

  3. Process a test transaction with one of your store items. For more information, see Make a sale.

  4. Hold the push button on the mobile reader until the blue LED flashes three times, which indicates that you’re in pairing mode. The pairing mode on the eDynamo lasts for 60 seconds. If you can’t complete the pairing in time, repeat this step again.

  5. Select Card Swiper as your payment method.

  6. Wait two to three seconds until the Elevate Staff App displays the Bluetooth Pairing Request

  7. Enter the pairing code: 000000 into the Elevate Staff App. Your mobile device is successfully paired with the mobile card reader.
