Connect an eDynamo credit card swiper to the Elevate Staff App for Mac devices

To connect an eDynamo credit card swiper to the Elevate Staff App for Mac devices, complete the following:

  1. Go into your iOS settings and ensure the eDynamo swiper isn’t connected to your mobile device’s Bluetooth.

  2. On your eDynamo swiper, press and hold the push button for 10 seconds. An LED on the top of the reader should flash red once, at which point you can release the button.

  3. Open the Elevate Staff App on your device and log in.

  4. Tap Store then tap Search for a Client

  5. Select a test client for a mock transaction.

  6. Once you’ve selected a test client, Tap All Categories.

  7. Tap Add next to a low dollar value item then tap Shopping Cart .

  8. Tap the Action button on the added item and then tap Edit.

  9. In the Price field, change the value to 1.00.

  10. Tap Save then tap Make a Payment.

  11. On your eDynamo swiper, press and hold the push button until the blue LED on the side of the swiper flashes three times, at which point you can release the button. The eDynamo swiper is now in pairing mode, which lasts for roughly one minute.

  12. On the payment screen, tap the Card Swiper option. The eDynamo swiper must still be in pairing mode for the Elevate Staff App to successfully pair to the eDynamo swiper.

  13. Wait two or three seconds for the Bluetooth Pairing Request dialog box to display. In the Bluetooth Pairing Request dialog box, type in the pairing code 000000. The eDynamo swiper has now been paired successfully.

  14. Complete and void the test transaction to ensure the eDynamo swiper is working properly.
