Staff members can connect their WellnessLiving profiles to their Google, Twitter, Facebook, Microsoft, and Apple accounts:

  • Staff members can sync their Google, Twitter, Facebook, and Microsoft accounts from the Staff Back Office, and their Apple Calendar from the Elevate Staff App.

  • Staff members can sign in to the Client Web App or the Elevate Staff App using their Facebook, Google, or Microsoft account.

  • Staff members can sign in to the Staff Back Office and the Elevate Staff App using their Google or Microsoft accounts.

  • Staff members can sync their Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar to WellnessLiving to keep their schedules up to date.

    • If a virtual service is scheduled, the virtual meeting link will be automatically added to their Google or Outlook Calendar as well.

    • Non-recurring events a staff member creates in their Google or Outlook Calendar can be synced to appear as unavailable time on the WellnessLiving schedule and the staff member’s working hours. The title of the event created on your Calendar will appear as a note for the unavailable time on the staff member’s working hours. When creating an event in your Calendar, you must select WellnessLiving from the list of calendars for the event to sync with WellnessLiving.

    • Syncing a staff member’s Google Calendar with WellnessLiving has certain limitations. For more information, see Google and Outlook Calendar synchronization limitations.

Caution: Staff members who connected their Google Calendars prior to two-way synchronization being implemented must disconnect and then reconnect their Google Calendars to WellnessLiving to enable two-way synchronization.

Key tips before you begin

  • Each social media account can only be linked to one WellnessLiving profile. Attempting to link a social media account with multiple WellnessLiving profiles will result in an error.

  • If an error message appears when attempting to connect to your Google account, you’ll need to change your Google security settings to allow access to less secure apps. For more information, see Less secure apps & your Google Account on the Google Support website.

  • The Microsoft Outlook integration can only be used with personal Microsoft accounts. If staff members want to connect their organizational Microsoft accounts, they must contact WellnessLiving Support for further assistance.

  • A staff member must be signed in to their own account on WellnessLiving to connect their Google or Microsoft Calendars.

  • If a staff member is working at multiple businesses, they must connect their Google or Outlook Calendar at each business to sync with each schedule.

  • If a staff member has an appointment booked with a walk-in client, the appointment won’t appear on their Google Calendar.

  • When staff members sync their WellnessLiving schedule to their Apple Calendar, they’ll only be able to view services they’re instructing in the future. They can’t view past services and services they don’t instruct.

  • On the Elevate Staff App, staff members can only synchronize their personal Apple Calendars and can’t synchronize shared Apple Calendars.

Manage your social media and calendar connections

  1. In the Staff Back Office, click your profile image in the top-right corner.

  2. In the flyout menu, click Profile.

  3. On the side menu, click Profile Details.

  4. Under CALENDAR INTEGRATIONS, connect or disconnect your calendars with your WellnessLiving schedule:

    • To disconnect a profile, click the name of the calendar integration you want to disconnect from, then click Disconnect.

    • To connect a profile, click the name of the calendar integration you want to connect to and sign in, if required. Confirm your authorization. Your accounts are connected.

  5. Under SOCIAL MEDIA CONNECTIONS, connect or disconnect to the social media profiles:

    • To disconnect a profile, click the name of the social media platform that you want to disconnect from, then click Disconnect.

    • To connect a profile, click the name of the social media platform that you want to connect to and sign in, if required. Confirm your authorization. Your accounts are connected.

Manage your Apple Calendar connection

  1. Open the Elevate Staff App, then tap the MORE button.

  2. Under Calendar Sync, set the Apple Calendar option to ON.

  3. In the confirmation popup, tap OK.
