Understanding Purchase Options
Purchase Option is an overarching term in WellnessLiving used to describe the following:
Membership: Typically allows your clients to access services during a limited time frame. For example, a monthly gym membership allows a client to use the gym any number of times during that month.
Session pass: Typically allows your clients to attend a certain number of classes or appointments. For example, a 10-class pass allows a client to attend 10 spin classes.
Package: A combination of items which can include any of the following: session passes, memberships, gift cards, and products. For example, a package includes a 10-class pass and a one-month gym membership.
What you can do with Purchase Options
Purchase Options provide you with various ways of giving your customers access to your services. Here’s how you can use them in WellnessLiving:
Each Purchase Option can be assigned a priority level, which determines the order in which it will be used to pay for a service.
A Purchase Option with a higher priority level will be used to pay for a service first. If multiple Purchase Options have the same priority level, the Purchase Option with the earliest expiration date will be used to pay for the service first. For more information on priority levels, see Store settings.
Getting started with Purchase Options
Before you can sell Purchase Options at your business, follow these steps:
Create the Purchase Option – Use the Staff Back Office of WellnessLiving to create, modify, or duplicate session passes, memberships, or packages.
Sell the Purchase Option – Once everything is set up, clients can begin purchasing the Purchase Options in your store.

Drop-in rate
Instead of using a Purchase Option, clients can also pay a drop-in rate for services they attend.
Purchase Option organization
Drag and drop Purchase Options on the Purchase Options page to arrange them in your preferred order.
Any changes made on this page won’t affect the order of the Purchase Options in the online store. To learn how to change your store layout, see Store categories and layout.
