Understanding gym visits

Gym visits are a type of service that allow clients to use your facilities at their convenience. Your Purchase Options can include a set or unlimited number of visits, following the same rules as appointment and class Purchase Options and the same processes for creating, modifying, or deleting them as well.

What you can do with gym visits

Gym visits are ideal for businesses that let clients freely use their facilities. Some examples include:

  • A 10-visit session pass for new or prospective clients can use to try out your business.

  • A yearly gym membership (paid bi-weekly) for your dedicated clients to renew annually.

  • A studio session pass paid monthly that offers an unlimited number of visits per month.

We also take into consideration how difficult it can be to manage hundreds of clients coming and going every day. Luckily, gym visits are designed to do the heavy lifting for you:

  • Gym visits can be used in conjunction with the Visits Remaining Report to provide an overview of each client’s remaining visits for Purchase Options. This helps to proactively manage marketing email campaigns to support client retention efforts.

  • You can grant open or limited access to your facilities when configuring gym visit Purchase Options. This lets you offer clients either free access to your entire facility, or access to specific areas only.

Getting started with gym visits

Before you can start with gym visits, follow these steps:

  1. Enable gym visits – Gym visits aren’t enabled by default; you’ll need to enable them in your business first.

  2. Start creating some gym visit Purchase options – Once gym visits are enabled, you can start creating gym visit session passes or memberships.
