Understanding discount codes
Discount codes are codes used in the store to apply discounts to items in a client’s cart. They can be used by both clients and staff members. When you create a discount code, you can provide your own code or have the system generate the code for you. You can set the length of time for which the code is valid and limit the number of times a client may use a code.
After you have created a discount code, you can view it on the Discount Codes page. By clicking an existing code, you can modify its details in the same manner as when you created the discount code.
What you can do with discount codes
Discount codes provide customers with an incentive to explore your business. You can apply discount codes for all types of purchases, including memberships, session passes, packages, products, and gift cards. Here are some ways you can use discount codes:
Welcome or welcome back discounts – Offer a special price to attract new clients, win back regular clients, and build brand awareness.
Loyalty discounts – Build strong customer relationships by providing discount codes to specific client types, staff members, or studio partners.
Holiday discounts – Promote your services or products with seasonal sales.
Getting started with discount codes
Before you or your clients start applying discount codes in your store, follow these steps:
Create the discount code – Use the Staff Back Office of WellnessLiving to set up the discount code.
Apply the discount code – Once everything is set up, staff members and clients can begin applying the discount code in your store.
