Understanding guests
Guests are prospective clients who purchase items at your business without registering for an account. Guests can purchase items through your Client Web App and Store Widget if Guest Checkout options are enabled in your store settings.
After a guest completes a purchase, a guest profile is created for them in your business. A guest profile is deactivated by default and the only information saved on a guest profile is the guest’s email address.
Guest profiles have limited functionality in your business and must be activated and converted to a client profile in order to start using most WellnessLiving functions.
Key tips
Reports
Guest users will be labeled in reports as Guest when reports track their activity.
You can open a guest profile by clicking Guest in any report that shows a guest’s email. You may need to search for the guest’s email in the Search box with the Include deactivated clients toggle set to ON.
Rewards
Guests can’t earn rewards points for their purchases and can’t receive any notifications except for the Purchase Receipt notification.
Merging profiles
When a staff member books a service for a new client using the email address from a guest profile, the guest profile will automatically merge with the new client profile created from the booking.
