A direct booking URL links to the booking page for an appointment, class, or event. Direct booking URLs for appointments can be copied from the schedule in the Staff Back Office, and direct booking URLs for classes and events can be copied attendance lists in the Staff Back Office or Elevate Staff App.
You can share a direct booking URL with clients through email and SMS, directing them to the Book Now tab of the Client Portal with the relevant service automatically selected.
Caution: If you modify the Book Now tab for a service, the direct booking URL for that service will change. Any client who uses the original direct booking URL will receive an error message.
Key tips before you begin
If a client opens the direct booking URL for a service that has online booking disabled, the client won’t be able book that service.
If a service is only available to specific client types or has an age restriction, a client who doesn’t meet these requirements will receive an error message when they open the direct booking URL.
Modifying a service’s settings other than the Book Now tab won’t affect the direct booking URL.
Share a direct booking URL for a service
To share a direct booking URL for a service, complete the following:
Click the App Drawer button then click View All > Setup > Services.
On the Services menu, click Appointments, Events, or Classes.
Click the service you want to share. The direct booking URL for the service is listed under Direct booking URL at the bottom of the page.
Next to the direct booking URL, click the Copy to clipboard button .
Paste the direct booking URL where you would like the link to appear.
Share a direct booking URL for a specific session
Desktop – Staff Back Office
To share a direct booking URL for a specific session from the Staff Back Office, complete the following:
Click the App Drawer button then click View All > Schedule.
Select the class or event for the specific booking URL you want to share.
If you are viewing the schedule in calendar view, click the class or event.
If you are viewing the schedule in list view, under Service, click the name of the class or event.
Click View Attendance List then click the More button > Copy Direct Class Booking URL .
Paste the direct booking URL where you would like the link to appear.
Mobile – Elevate Staff App
To share a direct book URL for a specific session from the Elevate Staff App, complete the following:
Tap the Schedule tab.
Tap the service session you want to change the client’s status for. You may need to adjust the schedule’s filters and date range to find the service.
Tap the Action button at the top of the screen, then tap Share direct booking URL.
Use your device’s sharing options to copy the URL or share it directly to clients.
