Understanding widgets

Widgets serve as convenient client-facing windows into the WellnessLiving system that you can seamlessly integrate into your website or Facebook page. They empower clients to explore and engage with your WellnessLiving business without leaving your site.

What can you do with widgets?

There are a number of different widgets you can add to your website or Facebook page. Each one serves a different purpose, and some of them can be customized to match your business’s branding.

Here’s a breakdown of the various website widget types available:

  • Schedule Widget: This option allows clients to view your class or event schedule conveniently on mobile or in a browser. Direct booking is also supported. This widget can’t be customized, so for a more personalized touch, check out the Custom Schedule Widget.

  • Custom Schedule Widget: Similar to the Schedule Widget, clients can easily view your class or event schedule in a mobile and browser-friendly format. Booking services directly through this widget is a breeze, and the best part is, you have the freedom to customize the structure and design of the schedule to suit your preferences.

  • FitBUILDER Widget: Embed your FitBUILDER whiteboard or leaderboard directly into your website.

  • Appointment Widget: Simplifies the process of booking appointments.

  • Event Widget: Enables clients to book events.

  • Book-a-Spot Widget: Ideal for reserving Book-a-Spot assets, this widget streamlines the booking process.

  • Lead Capture Widget: Perfect for attracting prospective clients, this widget enables sign-ups. Plus, it’s customizable, adding a touch of personalization to the signup process.

  • Review Widget: Clients can effortlessly view and contribute reviews about your business using this widget. Any reviews added through this tool will appear in search results for your business.

  • Store Widget: Facilitates the direct purchase of products and Purchase Options.

  • Staff Widget: Allows clients to view a list of your staff members and click on their profile pictures to learn more about them and view upcoming services. Clients can click Book next to a service to view and book an upcoming service on the Client Web App.

Key tips

  • Software updates

    • When WellnessLiving releases a software update, there is no action required from you to update your website widgets. They’ll remain functional even after we make changes to the software.

  • Embedding

    • Any website editor that supports embedding custom HTML can be used to embed widgets. For more information, check out Embed a widget.

  • Browser cookies

    • Widgets such as the Schedule Widget rely on browser cookies to function. Some web browsers such as Safari and Firefox block third-party cookies by default. For client instructions on how to get around this, check out Enabling cookies.

  • Tracking engagement

    • Most of our widgets support embedding Google and Facebook analytics pixels to track client engagement. You can do this in Client Web App settings.
