To access the YOY Sales Comparison Report, click the App Drawer button 
then click View All > Reports >Enterprise Reports > YOY Sales Comparison.
The YOY Sales Comparison Report is an enterprise report that displays a year-over-year (YOY) comparison of sales revenue in each Enterprise Location. A maximum of four years of net sales revenues can be displayed at a time in this report. The summary cards at the top of the page provide an overview of the key information in the report.
Summary cards in the YOY Sales Comparison Report
Summary card | Description |
[year] Total Net Sales (currency) | The total net sales revenue from all Enterprise Locations each year. Includes surcharges.
A summary card is displayed for each year in the selected date range.
If your business uses more than one currency, cards with the total net sales revenue for each currency will be displayed. |
Headings in the YOY Sales Comparison Report
Heading | Description |
Location | The name of the Enterprise Location |
Currency | The currency accepted at the location. |
Year | The years being compared in the report. |
Month | A separate column for each month of the year displaying net sales revenue for that month.
You can use filters to select which months are displayed. |
Total Net Sales | The total net sales revenues for the years being compared.
The total for each year is after factoring taxes, discounts, surcharges, and tips. |
Advanced filters in the YOY Sales Comparison Report
Filter | Description |
Country | Use this filter to determine which sales to include based on the country in which they occurred. |
Region | Use this filter to determine which sales to include based on the region in which they occurred. |
State/Province | Use this filter to determine which sales to include based on the state or province in which they occurred. |
Locations | Use this filter to determine which locations to include in the report. |
Enterprise Location Created Purchase Options | Use this filter to determine which sales to include based on whether the Purchase Option sold was created by an Enterprise Location. |
Month | Use this filter to determine which sales to include based on the month in which they occurred. |
Enterprise Location Created Products | Use this filter to determine which sales to include based on whether the product sold was created by an Enterprise Location. |
Accounting Method | Use this filter to determine which sales to include based on whether accrual or cash accounting methods were used. For more information about accrual and cash accounting methods, see FAQ: Reports.
If any option is selected for this filter, a staff member can click a sales revenue number in the report to open the Sales Summary by Location Report (Enterprise Report), which will be filtered for cash accounting. |
