Deactivate a client’s package
Deactivate a client’s package
Updated over a week ago

You can deactivate a package that a client has purchased so the client can no longer use it to pay for services.

To learn how to deactivate a package for all clients, see Deleting, deactivating, or reactivating a Purchase Option.

Caution: When a package is deactivated, all session passes within the package are deactivated, and all memberships within the package are canceled. Canceled memberships can be reactivated within two weeks of their cancellation, but they can’t be reactivated after those two weeks have elapsed. If you want to reactivate session passes within a deactivated package, you must reactivate each session pass individually.

Key tips before you begin

  • Deactivating a client’s package will prevent any further auto-payments from being attempted on it after the deactivation date. If the client’s package has an outstanding balance caused by a failed auto-payment, you will be prompted to choose whether to charge the outstanding amount to the client’s account.

Deactivate a client’s package:

To deactivate a client’s package, complete the following:

  1. On the Top Nav Bar, click the Search button , enter the client’s information in the box, and select the client’s name.

  2. On the side menu, click Account > Passes & Memberships.

  3. Choose how you want to deactivate the package:

    • To deactivate the package immediately:

      1. Under the Action column of the package, click the Action button and select Deactivate.

        • If the client’s package has an outstanding balance caused by a failed auto-payment, you will be prompted to choose whether to charge the outstanding amount to the client’s account.

      2. Click DEACTIVATE to confirm.

    • To deactivate the package on a specific day:

      1. Under the Action column of the package, click the Action button and select Edit Purchase Option.

      2. In the Advanced Settings, under Termination, select Terminate and set the date you want the package to be deactivated.

      3. Click Save for [Client Name].

    • To deactivate and convert the package into another Purchase Option:

      1. Under the Action column of the package, click the Action button and select Edit Purchase Option.

      2. In the Advanced Settings, under Termination, select Terminate and convert to.
