With the Finance feature, you can streamline your financial workflow directly within WellnessLiving.

Finance connects your QuickBooks Online account to your All Sales Report in WellnessLiving and automatically imports your data daily, which eliminates the need to enter it manually and keeps your records accurate and up to date.

If you’re a QuickBooks Desktop user, you will need to convert to QuickBooks Online. To learn how to do this, consult either of these articles from the Intuit Help Center:

Key tips before you begin

  • Finance is only available to businesses located in the United States or Canada.

  • Only staff members with the Configure Autymate settings permission can enable Finance.

  • Before enabling integration with WellnessLiving, sign in to your QuickBooks account and create a bank chart of accounts to which all credit card and bank transactions in your WellnessLiving account will be mapped. For this, the Account Type should be set to Bank and the Detail Type should be set to Chequing or Savings.

  • When using Finance, the setup wizard and dashboard require cookies and won't be displayed correctly when using a browser's incognito mode. We recommend using the normal browser mode when using Finance.

Connect QuickBooks Online to your WellnessLiving account

To connect QuickBooks Online to your WellnessLiving account, follow these steps:

  1. Click the App Drawer button then click View All >Finance > GET STARTED.

    • You can also click START 30-DAY FREE TRIAL if you want to test the feature. After 30 days, you’ll automatically be signed up for Finance as an add-on and incur payments moving forward.

  2. Select the I have read and accept the terms of service checkbox and click Yes, let’s proceed.

  3. Click CONNECT ACCOUNT.

    • If you’re a US customer, and don’t have an existing QuickBooks Online account, click SELECT A PLAN. You must select an Essentials, Plus, or Advanced subscription plan to integrate with Finance. After creating a QuickBooks Online account, click CONNECT ACCOUNT.

    • Non-US customers must buy a plan through the official QuickBooks website or an authorized provider.

  4. Review the video tutorial or click the help articles for more information, then click Next.

  5. Click Connect account.

  6. Under Connection name, enter QuickBooks Online.

  7. Click Proceed to sign in.

  8. In the popup window, enter your QuickBooks Online login credentials and click Sign in.

  9. Under Default bank account for credit card payments, select one of the active chart of accounts from your QuickBooks Online account to record the deposits for credit card and bank payments from WellnessLiving. For more information, see Finance settings.

    • Don’t click the close button on top of the screen at this point. Doing this will cause the setup to fail. If you’ve clicked this button, please contact WellnessLiving Support.

  10. Set the notification toggle switches to ON or OFF depending on your preferences.

  11. Under Notification Recipients, enter the email address of the person who will be notified whenever an Auty-mation is successful and/or unsuccessful. Separate more than one email address with a comma.

  12. Click Finish.

Disconnect QuickBooks Online from your WellnessLiving account

To disconnect QuickBooks Online from your WellnessLiving account, follow these steps:

  1. Click the App Drawer button then click View All> Finance.

  2. On the Finance page, click VIEW DASHBOARD.

  3. Click Connections.

  4. On the Connections page, click Disconnect under the QuickBooks Online account you want to disconnect.
