An Enterprise Headquarters can push their business settings, such as services, Purchase Options, and client types, to one or more of their Enterprise Locations.
Some push settings can function on their own, while others rely on other settings (dependencies) to function properly.
When you push a setting with dependencies, those dependencies, by default, will also be pushed. For example, if you push a membership that allows access to your beginner and intermediate classes, both classes will also be pushed.
If any additional settings pushed in this way have their own dependencies, those will be pushed as well. From the previous example, if the intermediate class is only available to Active Member and Active Pass Holder client types, then those client types will be pushed along with both classes and the membership.
Before you push a setting to your Enterprise Locations, you can review all primary push and dependency settings and decide whether you want to override them even if they were modified or pushed by the Enterprise Location previously.
Notes
When you push a Purchase Option to an Enterprise Location that sells the same Purchase Option at a higher price, the higher price is retained.
Purchase Options that have been customized for individual clients aren’t affected when an Enterprise Headquarters modifies a Purchase Option and pushes the settings to its Enterprise Locations.
Examples of push rules
Here’s an example of how pushing a setting works:
An Enterprise Headquarters decides to push a membership that clients can use to access in-person beginner and intermediate classes to an Enterprise Location.
The Enterprise Location sells this membership to 10 clients and converts the beginner and intermediate classes to virtual services.
The Enterprise Headquarters then adds a discount code for new clients and pushes the updated membership to the Enterprise Location.
Using this example, the membership is the primary push setting, and the beginner and intermediate classes are its dependencies. At this stage, the Enterprise Headquarters will be given the option to choose whether to override all Enterprise Location settings or only the primary push.
