To associate important documents with a client, such as medical forms or preference sheets, you can upload file attachments to their client profile from the Staff Back Office or Elevate Staff App. Additionally, when filling out a form with the Image Markup, or Side-by-Side elements, attachments for each file or image will be added to the Attachments page of the client profile.

Attachments can be any file type but can’t exceed the maximum file size of 20MB each.

Key tips before you begin

  • Only staff members can view attachments from a client’s profile.

  • Waivers and contracts that have been signed by a client can’t be deleted from their profile.

  • If a form is deleted, any associated attachments are also permanently deleted. If a form is amended, the original and all amended versions will be available on the Attachments page of the client profile.

  • Attachments are listed with the most recently uploaded on top.

Desktop – Staff Back Office

View a client’s attachments

To view a client’s attachments from the Staff Back Office, complete the following:

  1. On the Top Nav Bar, click the Search button and enter the client’s information in the box. In the list of clients displayed, click the client’s name.

  2. On the side menu, click Documents > Attachments.

  3. Find the attachment you want to view in the list, then choose one of the following options:

    • To open a preview of the attachment in your browser, click the Action button and select Preview.

      • Note: Only PDF and image files (such as .jpg, .pdf, .gif) can be previewed in your browser. Other file types will be automatically downloaded to your computer when selected.

    • To download the attachment to your computer, click the Download button then open the file to view the attachment.

Add an attachment to a client’s profile

To add an attachment from the Staff Back Office, complete the following:

  1. On the Top Nav Bar, click the Search button and enter the client’s information in the box. In the list of clients displayed, click the client’s name.

  2. On the side menu, click Documents > Attachments.

  3. Choose how you want to upload your files:

    • Drag-and-drop files directly on the page to automatically upload them.

    • Click Add attachment to select files from your computer.

      1. Click the file you want to attach to the client profile. To attach multiple items, hold down the Shift key on your keyboard while clicking each file.

      2. Click Choose File.

  4. The files will automatically upload to the client profile and appear at the top of their list of attachments. While files are uploading, you can click the X next to them to cancel the upload.

Modify or remove an attachment from a client’s profile

To modify or remove an attachment from a client’s profile using the Staff Back Office, complete the following:

  1. On the Top Nav Bar, click the Search button and enter the client’s information in the box. In the list of clients displayed, click the client’s name.

  2. On the side menu, click Documents > Attachments.

  3. Find the attachment you want to modify or remove.

    • To modify an attachment:

      1. Next to the attachment you want to modify, click the Action button and select Edit.

      2. Make your changes to the attachment’s name or description, then click Save.

    • To remove an attachment:

      1. Next to the attachment you want to remove, click the Action button and select Delete.

      2. In the confirmation popup, click Delete.

Mobile – Elevate Staff App

View a client’s attachments

To view a client’s attachments from the Elevate Staff App, complete the following:

  1. Tap the Clients tab, then enter the client’s information in the Search box. From the search results, tap the client's profile.

  2. Tap the Options button and select Attachments.

  3. Find the attachment you want to view in the list, then choose one of the following options:

    • To open a preview of the attachment in the app, tap the Action button and select Preview.

      • Note: Only PDF and image files (such as .jpg, .pdf, .gif) can be previewed in the app.

    • To download the attachment to your mobile device, tap the Action button and select Download, then open the file to view the attachment.

Add an attachment to a client’s profile

To add an attachment from the Elevate Staff App, complete the following:

  1. Tap the Clients tab, then enter the client’s information in the Search box. From the search results, tap the client's profile.

  2. Tap the Options button and select Attachments.

  3. Tap the Add Attachment button

  4. Choose the file(s) you want to upload:

    • To upload a single file, tap the file in the list, then tap Open.

    • To upload multiple files at once, tap the Options button then tap Select to begin multi-selecting.

      1. Tap each file you want to upload, then tap Open. The files will automatically upload to the client profile and appear at the top of their list of attachments.

Modify or remove an attachment from a client’s profile

To modify or remove an attachment from a client’s profile using the Elevate Staff App, complete the following:

  1. Tap the Clients tab, then enter the client’s information in the Search box. From the search results, tap the client's profile.

  2. Tap the Options button and select Attachments.

  3. Find the attachment you want to modify or remove.

    • To modify an attachment:

      1. Next to the attachment you want to modify, tap the Action button and select Edit.

      2. Make your changes to the attachment’s name or description, then tap Save.

    • To remove an attachment:

      1. Next to the attachment you want to modify, tap the Action button and select Delete.

      2. In the confirmation popup, tap Delete.
