Processing time can be set to determine how much extra time is required for parts of an appointment.
Unlike padding time, processing time affects the duration and total length of an appointment. For example, a 30-minute appointment with an added 20-minute start time becomes 50 minutes. The total length is what clients will see when they book.
Key tips before you begin
Canceling an appointment will also cancel any allotted processing time.
Any assets associated with an appointment will be unavailable during the appointment’s processing time.
Staff members can’t be booked for other services in the same time slot as the processing time for one of their appointments.
