To access the Appointments page, click the App Drawer then click Setup > Services > Appointments.

Understanding appointments

Appointments make it easy to book one-on-one services. Whether it’s a personal training session, a massage, a music lesson, or a private consultation, appointments cater to individual or small group needs (up to 15 clients).

Key features of appointments

  • Reserve Assets – Book rooms or equipment alongside appointments. (Video)

  • Add-On Products – Enhance the appointment experience by offering additional products. (Video)

  • Back-to-back booking – Schedule multiple appointments for a single client.

  • Wait Lists – Allow clients to join wait lists and get notified if a spot opens up. (Video)

  • Padding and Processing Time – Ensure smooth transitions by adding buffer times to appointments.

Getting started with appointments

Before clients can start booking appointments, follow these steps:

  1. Create the Appointment – Use the Staff Back Office of WellnessLiving to set up the appointment details.

  2. Set Working Hours – Ensure staff members are available during the hours when appointments can be hosted. (Video 1) (Video 2) (Video 3)

  3. Assign Staff Members – Designate the appropriate staff members to handle the appointment.

  4. Location Assignment – Confirm staff members are assigned to the correct location for the appointment. (multi-location businesses only) (Video)

  5. Start Booking – Once everything is set up, clients can begin booking their appointments hassle-free. (Video)
