You can create a client group from the Client Groups page, an attendance list, or most reports that display information about clients.
When you create a client group from the Client Groups page, you can create qualifying criteria for clients and set the client group to be automatically updated every day. Any clients who meet these criteria will be automatically added to the client group. Likewise, any clients who no longer meet the criteria will be automatically removed from the client group. You can also configure Door Access options for clients in the group.
When you create a client group from an attendance list or a report, you must first select the clients and then create the group.
After a client group has been created, if you also have permission to manage client group members, you can add or remove clients from the group.
Key tips before you begin
You can only create a client group from a report that has the Add to group option available under the Action button
in the top-right.
You can only configure a client group to automatically update from the Client Groups page.
Create a client group from the Client Groups page
To create a client group from the Client Groups page, complete the following:
Click the App Drawer button
then click View All > Clients > Client Groups.
Click Add client group.
Under CLIENT GROUP NAME, enter the name of the new client group.
To assign an icon to your client group, set Display an icon for this group next to the client’s name to ON and select your preferences.
To grant door access to the client group, under DOOR ACCESS SETTINGS, set the Add as access group to Brivo option to ON. This option is only available if you have Door Access powered by Brivo enabled.
When you add a client group as an access group to Brivo, you can configure the specific door access permissions for the client group using Brivo’s software. If you want to set specific access permissions for different types of clients, create two different client groups. For more information on how to do this, see the Brivo website or contact Brivo.
It can take up to 24 hours to synchronize changes done on WellnessLiving with Brivo’s backend. This means that it may take clients up to 24 hours to have door access after being added to Brivo.
To require clients to meet certain criteria to be added to the group, set Require clients to meet criteria to ON.
To automatically update this client group each day, set Enable-auto update to ON. This will ensure that clients who meet the criteria are added, and clients who no longer meet the criteria are removed.
Create a criterion to to include clients in the group by selecting one of the POWER search criteria and completing the fields for that criterion.
Click Save.
When creating a client group to use as an access group in Brivo, it’s recommended to use the following settings:
[Active Purchase Option]
[is]
[Any Purchase Option] (or you can specify one or more relevant Purchase Options)
[The Purchase Option isn’t on hold]
This will allow you to create an “access group” in Brivo that only includes clients with active Purchase Options that aren’t on hold.
Create a client group from an attendance list
To create a client group from an attendance list, complete the following:
Open the desired attendance list.
Select the clients to include in the client group:
To select all clients in the attendance list, select the checkbox in the column heading.
To select only certain clients in the attendance list, select the checkbox next to each client you want to include in the client group.
Click ADD TO CLIENT GROUP.
Scroll to the bottom of the list and click Create new client group.
Under CREATE GROUP, enter a name for the new client group.
Click the OK button
Create a client group from a report
To create a client group from a report, complete the following:
Click the App Drawer button
then click View All > Reports.
On the Reports menu, click Clients, Attendance, or Sales, then select a report.
Select the clients to include in the client group:
To select all clients on every page of the report, select the checkbox in the report heading and then click Select all records from all pages.
To select all clients on a single page of the report, open a page and select the checkbox in the report heading.
To select specific clients in the report, select the checkbox next to each client’s name.
Click the Action button
and select Add to group.
Scroll to the bottom of the list and click Create new client group.
Under CREATE GROUP, enter a name for the new client group.
Click the OK button
