To promote your business and services, you can offer any of your classes or an individual session of a class to your clients for free. This can be easily performed through the Setup menu or on the Schedule.
This can also be done by creating a 100% off discount code for the one-time purchase of a class in the store. To learn how to do this, see Offering any purchase for free from the shopping cart.
Make all sessions of a class free
To make all sessions of a class free:
Open the App Drawer button
then click View All > Setup > Classes.On the Classes page, create or modify a class.
Under Purchase Rules, select Sell individual sessions.
In the Cost Per Session textbox, enter 0.00.
Click Save.
Note: To prevent clients from booking this service from the store, disable online booking so that only staff members can book this service.
Make a single class session free
You can make a single class session free by either creating a session pass for a single session valued at $0, or by editing a scheduled session.
Make single session free with a session pass
To make a single session of a class free with a session pass:
Open the App Drawer button
then click View All > Setup > Store Configuration > Purchase Options.On the Purchase Options page, create a new session pass.
Under Purchase Option Service Category, select Classes/Events.
Under the General Information settings for this session pass, apply the following settings:
Under Visit Restrictions, set the Set number of visits to “1”.
Under Price, set the price of the session pass to “$0.00”.
Under the Advanced Settings for this session pass, apply the following settings:
Under Access to Classes, choose Selection, then select the class type to which the session pass will apply.
Under Access to Events, choose None.
Under Access to Gym, choose No access.
Click Save.
Make a single session free by editing a scheduled session
From the setup menu
To make one session of a class free from the setup menu by editing a scheduled session:
Open the App Drawer button
then click View All > Setup > Classes.On the Classes page, create or modify a class.
Click Manage Schedule.
Click the Edit schedule details button [image] next to the class that you want to offer for free.
Choose the dates that will be affected and click Next.
Choose the sessions that will be affected and click Next.
Next to the Retail Price, click the Edit
button.In the textbox, enter 0.00.
Click Next, then click Complete.
From the schedule
To make one session of a class free from the schedule:
Open the App Drawer button
then click View All > Schedule.On the schedule, click the class you want to modify. You may have to browse the list, use the Search option, or filter the list to find the class.
Click Modify Schedule.
Choose the dates that will be affected. Click Next.
Choose the sessions that will be affected. Click Next.
Next to the Retail Price, click the Edit
button. In the textbox, enter 0.00.
Click Next, then click Complete.
