Understanding the rewards program

The rewards program is a great way to keep your clients engaged with your business. Based on your selections, clients can earn rewards points automatically when they attend your services, refer friends, post on social media, or otherwise interact with your business. Clients can then redeem their rewards points for prizes that you set up, such as free services, free products, or special discounts offered by your business.

The goals you can achieve with the rewards program include improvements the following aspects of your business:

  • Retention

  • Motivation

  • Engagement

  • Marketing opportunities

  • Brand loyalty

What you can do with the rewards program

The rewards program is hugely customizable and can be used to incentivize and engage your clients like never before. Here are some of the ways our customers have found success with the rewards program:

  • Attendance rewards – Automatically award rewards points to clients who attend classes regularly.

  • Referral bonuses – Offer rewards points to members who refer friends or family to join your business.

  • Social media engagement – Encourage members to share all their wonderful experiences at your business on their social media accounts.

  • Member Birthdays – Give rewards points to members on their birthdays as a token of appreciation.

Getting started with the rewards program

Key tips

  • Enable client rewards

    • Clients can only earn rewards points if the Enable rewards program option on their Overview page is set to ON.

  • Rewards before going live

    • Clients won’t earn any rewards points when a staff member books a service on their behalf or before your business has gone live on WellnessLiving.

  • When rewards points are reverted

    • If a client earns rewards points for certain activities and those activities are later undone or not completed, the points they earned will be automatically deducted from their client profile. These activities include:

      • Making a purchase, and later getting a refund for that purchase.

      • Booking a service online, and later being marked as a late cancel or a no-show for that service.

    • Rewards points and refunds

      • If a client makes a purchase by redeeming rewards points and later returns the purchase for a refund, the points they redeemed won’t be automatically added back to their rewards points total. However, a staff member can manually assign rewards points back to the client through their client profile.
