You can set up an automated notification to send to your clients based on the Client since date on their client overview page. This can be done to show clients you care by sending them a simple thank-you message, or you can get creative and use it for marketing strategies or yearly offers.
Key tips before we begin
This notification is sent only to active client types that have a Client since date on their client overview page. If your business’s data was imported from another software, you may need to manually update these clients.
You can enable or disable this notification for all clients when setting it up, or you can select individual clients to send it to by Changing a client’s notification settings.

To edit the anniversary email

Click the App Drawer button , then click View All > Setup > Notifications > Client Notifications.
Scroll to Anniversary under the Profile Notifications heading.
Under the EMAIL, SMS, or PUSH columns click the Edit this template button .
On the Edit Anniversary Template page, there will be a few things to set up before designing your email:
Under Email Send Rules you can target specific client types or groups by setting the Send only to specific client types or the Send only to specific client groups option to ON, and then checking the boxes next to each client type/group you want to receive the email.
You can click View sender’s information if you want to modify the name or email address the email will send from, add a CC/BCC, or change the subject line.
Under Email content, make your changes to the template’s content using the default editor or click Visual Editor for more advanced options. For more information, see Modifying an email template using the default editor and Modifying an email template using the visual editor.
Click View email variables to display a list of variables that can be used in your template. To add a variable to your template, click the Copy to clipboard button [image] next to a variable, then paste it in the Email content field. For more information, see Email variables.
In the top right of the page, set the ACTIVATE EMAIL option to ON.
Click Save. A confirmation popup is displayed prior to accepting any changes in situations where clients will be impacted by send rule changes.

Click the App Drawer button , then click View All > Setup > Notifications > Client Notifications.
Scroll to Anniversary under the Profile Notifications heading.
In the EMAIL, SMS, and/or PUSH columns, click the associated button below to enable or disable these notifications for all clients. If the button is blue, the notification is enabled for all clients. If the button is gray, the notification is disabled for all clients.

On the Top Nav Bar, click the Search button , search for the client you’re looking for, and click their name.
On the client’s Overview page, hover over the CLIENT SINCE date and click the Edit
button.
Click the calendar icon and select the client’s new anniversary date.
Click the Confirm button .
In the confirmation popup, click OK.
