Automated notifications can be customized to suit your business needs. For example, you can fine-tune when clients or staff members will receive your automated notifications, change the tone of the content in each notification, or add extra details.
For information about turning individual notifications on or off, see Enabling or disabling automated notifications.
Key tips before you begin
If you change the timing of a service reminder notification, previously scheduled services will keep their old reminder times. To ensure all services have the same reminder times, configure your notifications before scheduling any services.
You can send a test email when editing an email notification template by clicking the Send test email button and entering a receiving email address. When sending a test email, keep in mind the following information:
To send a test email, an email notification template must be activated.
If you send a test email to a client or staff member with a profile in WellnessLiving, the test email won’t be affected by the client notification settings or staff notification settings.
When you send a test email, the variables in your email notification template will be filled with placeholder information. It's important to note that this placeholder data is not specific to your business. For instance, the [Fullname] variable will display as John Smith.
