I uploaded my video in the correct format. Why is my video blank?

FitVID uses your browser’s HTML5 video player to display content. If you’ve uploaded a video in a supported file format (.mov or .mp4) and are still experiencing issues such as blank video playback with only audio, we suggest double-checking the file encoding to ensure it’s compatible with HTML5 video playback. We recommend H.264 video encoding for best compatibility results across a variety of browsers and devices.

Can I upload an audio-only file to FitVID on Demand?

Yes, you can upload an audio-only recording to FitVID on Demand. The only requirement for uploading a file to FitVID on Demand is that it must be either an .mp4 or .mov file.

How many videos can I upload with each subscription plan?

Can I upload more videos if I downgrade to the Basic plan?

The Basic plan allows you to upload up to 100 videos. If you've uploaded more than 100 videos and downgrade to the Basic plan, you won't lose any of your uploaded videos. However, you won't be able to upload any more videos unless you upgrade your subscription to the Premium plan.

Is my FitVID on Demand subscription priced by location, or does the monthly subscription fee cover my entire business?

FitVID on Demand subscriptions are priced by location. For example, if your business has two locations and you want to use the Basic plan, you would be paying $49 a month per location, or $98 a month.

Are videos uploaded separately for each location, or can you view videos from other locations?

All videos are uploaded to a single FitVID library accessible by all locations in your business, provided the uploaded videos have no viewing restrictions. However, if you’re on the Basic plan, there is a video upload limit of 100 videos per location.

If I associate a FitVID video with multiple categories when I upload it, does it count as one recording towards the maximum total of videos I can upload?

When a video is uploaded, it only counts as one video towards your total no matter how many categories you assign it to. The only way for a video to count as more than one towards your total is if the same video was uploaded multiple times. If you’ve reached your limit, keep in mind that the Premium and Enterprise plans allow you to upload unlimited videos. For more information, see FitVID on Demand: Subscription plans and fees.

Can you put FitVID videos on a loop for workout stations?

FitVID videos don’t have a loop feature, but you can use an external video hosting platform. For instance, you could loop the video on the device locally, or you can upload the video as an unlisted YouTube video and play it on a loop, and in either case you could cast it to separate TV/devices if you have multiple workout stations.

Is there a way to track metrics for FitVID videos, such as total views and which users have watched each video?

There are two types of attendance reports that can be used to track metrics for your FitVID videos:

  • The Video Metrics Summary Report provides a high-level overview of essential video metrics such as total views, average views per client, and average view duration.

  • The Video Metrics Details Report provides details on how your clients interact with your videos. This includes when clients view videos, the methods they use to view them, and which videos they’ve viewed.
