You can access your Appointment Widget settings by clicking on the App Drawer then clicking on View All > Setup > Website Widgets > Appointment.

Understanding the Appointment Widget

The Appointment Widget is a widget that allows your clients to book appointments at your business directly through your website or Facebook page. You can configure the widget to display appointments for all your locations or only display appointments for a specific location. From the widget, clients can select the service type, instructor, date, and add-ons they want for their appointment.

Key tips

Signing in

  • Clients will be prompted to sign in before booking if your business has the Clients must sign in to book an appointment option set to ON in your business policy settings.

  • Clients must be signed in if they want to use their Purchase Options when booking through the widget, regardless of what business policies you have enabled.

  • Staff members that are signed in to their WellnessLiving account will need to use a different browser or an incognito window in order to use the Appointment Widget to book a client.

Billing

  • If your business has the Require clients to add a credit card to their profile to book services option set to ON in the store settings, new clients who don’t have their billing information saved to their client profile will be prompted to save their information before completing the booking.

Standard versus New widget code

  • When copying this widget's code to your website, you can select between using the Standard widget code or New widget code. The New widget code option uses a layout coded with a modern framework for additional functionality.
