This article describes the settings available when customizing your Self Check-In Kiosk and the Check-in mode of your Check-In App. Both the kiosk and app will be updated based on the selections you choose here.

Business Logo

Setting

Business Logo

Under Business Logo, set the business logo that appears on your Self Check-In Kiosk by clicking the image placeholder or the currently selected image to upload a new image.

When uploading an image, keep the following in mind:

  • Use a .png image with a transparent background for best results.

  • The minimum resolution is 220 × 100 pixels.

  • The maximum resolution is 1024 × 465 pixels.

  • The maximum file size is 20 MB.

Display the business name

To determine whether the name of the business is displayed on your Self Check-In Kiosk, set this option to ON or OFF. When this option is set to ON, you must enter the name of the business under Business Name.

Self Check-In Settings

Description

Self check-in period before session starts [number] [duration]

Set the duration of the self check-in period for clients before the session starts.

Self check-in period after session has started [number] minutes

Set how many minutes clients have to self check-in after a session has started.

Allow clients to check in without prior booking

Set this option to ON to let clients check in to services if they haven't prebooked their session. Clients can book and check in on-site when they arrive.

Allow self check-in for unpaid sessions

Set this option to ON to let clients check themselves in for unpaid sessions.

If a visit was booked as unpaid, the system will automatically deduct the visit from the client's available purchase options when they check in.

Note: Only appears if Allow self check-in for unpaid sessions is set to ON.

Set this option to ON to automatically deduct visits from a client’s available Purchase Options when they check in for an unpaid session.

Check-In Methods

Description

Allow check-in via client ID

Set this option to ON to let clients check in for sessions using their client ID, barcode, or key tag.

To allow clients to check in with a barcode or key tag, you must have a barcode scanner attached to the self check-in kiosk.

Allow check-in via email

Set this option to ON to let clients check in for sessions using the email address associated with their client profile.

To also require clients to enter their password before checking in, set Require password to complete check-in to ON. This option will only appear if Allow clients to check via email is set to ON.

Allow check-in via phone number

Set this option to ON to let clients check in using the cell phone number associated with their client profile.

Self Check-In Navigation

Setting

Description

Display confirmation screen for [number] seconds after client self check-in.

Set this option to ON to display a confirmation screen after clients check themselves in and select the number of seconds the screen should be displayed.

Display service selection for [number] seconds before returning to the home screen

Determines the amount of time (up to 15 seconds) clients can stay signed in before they’re automatically signed out from the Self Check-In Kiosk. By default, the timer is set to five seconds.

Set this option to ON to hide client profile images after the client signs in.

Sound Settings

Select the sound you want clients to hear when their self check-in is unsuccessful. You can test the different sounds by clicking the Play button on each sound.

Successful

Select the sound you want clients to hear when their self check-in is successful. You can test the different sounds by clicking the Play button on each sound.
