All services (events, classes, appointments, and assets) can have a wait list option if enabled. For more information, see Enabling and disabling wait list.

Yes, you can enable or disable a wait list for specific services. To do so, in the service's setup page, select the Use [service]-specific business policies option under Custom Business Policies and configure the wait list policy settings as desired. Clients on a wait list for a service can automatically be promoted from the wait list when a spot becomes available if the Clients are promoted automatically in the order they joined the wait list up to [xx] [duration] option is enabled. Additionally, if the Fastest Response is enabled, all clients on the wait list will receive a simultaneous notification when a spot opens up. The first client to respond will secure the spot, and the others will be informed that the service is full. These options can be selected in the business policy settings or when customizing business policies for individual services.
You can also manually promote clients from a wait list if you want them to attend a service even when there isn't an available spot. For more information, see Manually promoting a client from a wait list.

When joining a wait list for a service, clients are required to pay for the service beforehand. However, if the Allow clients to join the wait list unpaid option is selected in the business policy settings or customizing business policies for individual services, clients can join the wait list without paying for the service in advance.

If you've set the wait list promotion setting to Clients are notified to accept in the order they joined the wait list and have [xx] [duration] until the next person is notified, and the client doesn't confirm within that time limit, the next client in line on the wait list will be given the opportunity to promote themselves to the attendance list. Can clients join a wait list without having a credit card saved in their profile?
Can clients join a wait list without having a credit card saved in their profile?
