Push a setting to Enterprise Locations
Updated over a month ago

An Enterprise Headquarters can push settings like services, Purchase Options, and client types to one or more of their Enterprise Locations. They can decide whether to override existing primary and dependency settings at the selected Enterprise Location(s), even if modified or pushed before.

To learn more about how an Enterprise push works, see Enterprise push rules.

Key tips before you begin

  • When you push a Purchase Option to an Enterprise Location that sells the same Purchase Option at a higher price, the higher price is retained.

  • Purchase Options that have been customized for individual clients aren’t affected when an Enterprise Headquarters modifies a Purchase Option and pushes the settings to its Enterprise Locations.

Push a setting to Enterprise Locations

To push a setting to Enterprise Locations, follow these steps:

  1. Click the App Drawer button then click View All > Setup > Enterprise > Enterprise Settings.

  2. Click the Push button next to the enterprise setting you want to push.

  3. Review the displayed settings and select the options you want to push.

    • To view dependencies for the displayed settings, click Show Dependency. These dependencies will also be pushed to the Enterprise Locations you select.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Select the Enterprise Locations that you want to push the setting to. You can filter your Enterprise Locations by toggling between Country, Region, State/Province, or Location.

  6. If you’re pushing any other settings:

    1. Review the primary and dependency push settings.

    2. Choose if you want to override existing Enterprise Location settings. By default, these settings are turned off.

      • Push primary settings and override existing Enterprise Location settings – Setting this option to ON will override existing primary settings. If an Enterprise Location lacks the primary setting, the setting will be pushed to the Enterprise Location regardless of whether this is ON or OFF.

        • Apply primary settings to previously sold Purchase Options – Setting this option to ON will apply primary push settings to previously sold Purchase Options.

          • This setting is only available if the primary push setting is a Purchase Option.

      • Push settings for dependencies and override existing Enterprise Location settings – Setting this option to ON will override existing dependency settings.

        • Apply settings for dependencies to previously sold Purchase Options – Setting this option to ON will apply dependency settings to previously sold Purchase Options.

          • This setting is only available if the dependency or the primary push setting is a Purchase Option.

          • If this is set to OFF, and you have chosen to override both the primary and dependency settings, previously sold Purchase Options may be duplicated.

    3. Click Push, then in the confirmation popup, click Push again.
