To view the Clients in Collections Report, click the App Drawer button then click View All > Reports > Clients > Clients in Collections.
The Clients in Collections Report is a client report that displays clients in collections during the selected date range. Clients are automatically sent to collections when they have a negative account balance beyond your business’s grace period. By default, this grace period is 90 days, but you can request a different limit by contacting Aldous.
This article describes how to view the Clients in Collections Report and provides details of the columns that appear in the report.
Note: This report is only available for businesses that have signed up for Collections.
Summary cards in the Clients in Collections Report
The summary cards at the top of the page provide an overview of the key information in the report.
Summary card | Description |
Total Clients | The total number of clients who were sent to collections. If a client was sent to collections multiple times during the selected report period, each time counts towards this total. |
Total Amount for Collections | The total overdue amount that will be reported to Aldous. |
Headings in the Clients in Collections Report
Heading | Description |
Date Added | The date that the client was added to this report. |
Past Due Since | The due date of the overdue amount.

Location | The business name of the client’s home location. This column is only displayed if your business has more than one location. |
Client UID | The client ID of the client. |
Client | The full name of the client. You can navigate to the client’s profile by clicking the link in their name. |
Street Address | The client’s address. |
City | The client’s city, state, and country. |
ZIP Code | The client’s ZIP code. |
Cell Number | The cell phone number of the client. |
Amount for Collections | The amount that will be reported to Aldous to be collected from the client.
When the client is in Pending Collections status, this column contains the sum of the client’s Account Balance and Future Obligations columns from the Balance Due Report or from the Billing and Account Balance page of the client’s profile. |

Status | The client’s current status in collections. Possible statuses are:

Client Date of Birth | The client’s birthdate. |
Client Since Date | The registration date of the client. |

Locations | Use this filter to determine which locations to include in the report. |
Client Types | Use this filter to determine which clients to include in the report based on their client type. |
Groups | Use this filter to determine which clients to include in the report based on their client group. |
