The general business policies you set up apply to appointment types, class types, events, and Book-a-Spot assets; however, you can also set custom business policies for specific services. The custom business policies you set for a service will override your general business policies.
Custom business policies also allow you to individually adjust settings for the service in the Self Check-In Kiosk and Attendance Kiosk.
Note: Custom business policies can only be set for assets that have the Asset can be booked separately from other services setting enabled.
Customize the business policies for an individual service or asset
To customize the business policies for an individual service or asset, complete the following:
Click the App Drawer button then click View All > Setup > Services.
On the Services menu, click Appointments, Classes, Events, or Book-a-Spot depending on the service you want to modify.
Click the service or asset for which you want to customize the business policies.
Under Custom Business Policies, click Use [service/asset] specific business policies.
Modify the business policies as required. For more information, see Business policy settings.
Modify the Client Attendance App & Client Self Check-in Policy as required. For more information, see Self Check-In Kiosk settings and Attendance Kiosk settings.
Click Save. The service or asset will display the Custom booking policies icon to indicate that custom business policies are in use.
