You can allow your clients to earn rewards points when they refer another client to your business or when a referral buys a specific Purchase Option. For more information, see Refer-a-friend under Types of rewards points.
To allow clients to earn rewards points for referring other clients to your business, you must first enable referral rewards points in your rewards program, then assign the referring client to the client profile of the referred client. The assigned client can then earn the rewards points for the referral.
If you’ve enabled referral rewards points, clients can also assign a referring client in their client profile.
The referring client will earn rewards points until they reach the maximum number of rewards points that you set for referrals.
Enable or disable referral rewards points
To enable or disable referral rewards points, complete the following:
Click the App Drawer button then click View All > Rewards.

To award reward points for referring prospective clients, under Refer-a-Friend, set Clients earn points for referring a prospective client to ON.
In the Points for referring a prospective client field, enter the number of points that a client should earn for a referral.
To award reward points for referring clients who make a purchase at your business, under Refer-a-Friend, set Clients earn points for referring a client that purchases to ON.
Using the drop-down menu, select the Purchase Option(s) you want to enable for referral rewards.
In the Points for referring a client that purchases field, enter the number of points that a referring client should earn every time a referred client purchases an enabled Purchase Option.
If you want the referring client to earn points every time the referred client’s Purchase Option auto-renews, set the Earn points again upon auto-renewal option to ON.
Click the Setup button and select Add Maximum Cap.
Enter the maximum number of rewards points a client can earn for referrals in the MAX field and select the length of time this maximum will last before it resets. This length of time begins after the client earns their first rewards points for a referral.
To disable rewards points for referrals:
Under Refer-a-Friend, set all options to OFF.
In the confirmation popup, click OK.
Assign rewards points for a referral
To assign rewards points for a referral, complete the following:
On the Top Nav Bar, click the Search button enter the client’s information in the box, and select the client’s name.
On the side menu, click Profile Details.
Under Referred by, enter the referring client’s information in the box. You can enter the client’s name, phone number, email address, UID, or client ID.
In the list of clients displayed, click the referring client’s name.
Click Update Account. The rewards points are added to the referring client’s profile.
