Daily Attendance Summary Report

To access the Daily Attendance Summary Report, open the App Drawer App Drawer Icon.png then click View All > Reports > Attendance > Daily Attendance Summary.

The Daily Attendance Summary Report is an attendance report that gives you a clear look at all scheduled services for a specific day, helping you keep track of bookings, cancellations, and overall activity.

When you open the full report from the Reports section, you’ll see a straightforward list of your services and their details. On your dashboard, the Daily Attendance Tracker shows a more enhanced version of this information, including summary cards that highlight key daily totals. Although both tools show the same daily activity, the dashboard version gives you more high-level insights at a glance, while the full report focuses on a simple, detailed list of the day’s services.

The Daily Attendance Summary Report gives you a clear picture of how busy your business is on any given day. By reviewing booked visits, attendance, cancellations, and no-shows, you can quickly spot patterns in client behavior. This helps you understand which services are in demand, which ones may need more promotion, and when your busiest times tend to occur.

Because this report highlights upcoming activity as well as what has already happened, it’s useful for day-to-day planning. You can see when you need more staff coverage, ramp up marketing in slower times, and adjust your schedule to better match client demand. Tracking no-shows and late cancels also helps you manage your policies and reduce lost revenue. Over time, these insights support better scheduling, stronger client engagement, and smoother daily operations.

Summary cards in the Daily Attendance Summary Report

Note: Summary cards only appear with the Daily Attendance Tracker on the Dashboard. For more information, see Manage a dashboard.

Summary cards are calculated based on the selected date range. Click any summary card to filter the report to only show entries related to that card.

Description

All Services

The number of scheduled services.

Upcoming Services

The number of upcoming scheduled services.

Booked

The number of clients who have booked a service, including pending appointment requests.

Attended

The number of clients who checked in to a service.

No Show

The number of clients who missed a service and were marked as No Show.

Late Cancel

The number of clients who missed a service and were marked as Late Cancel.

Capacity Utilization

The number of filled spots for all sessions on the schedule, displayed as a percentage by dividing booked spots by the total capacity of the scheduled service(s).

Columns in the Daily Attendance Summary Report

Column

Description

Time

The scheduled time and duration of the service is listed in this column.

Service Info

The specific service name, staff member, and location are listed in this column.

For unpaid appointments, the label Has Not Paid is displayed.

Attendance

For classes or events, the number of clients who have booked the service is listed in this column. Click the number to open the attendance list.

For appointments or Book-a-Spot assets, the client’s profile is displayed.

Status

The status of the booked appointment or asset. Possible statuses include:

  • Booked – Appointments or assets that are scheduled but have not occurred.

  • Checked-in – Appointments or assets clients checked in to.

  • Early cancel – Appointments or assets clients canceled within the allowed cancellation window.

  • Late cancel – Appointments or assets clients canceled after the allowed cancellation window.

  • No show – Appointments or assets clients missed without canceling.

  • Status pending – Appointments or assets with no updated attendance statuses.

  • Pending confirmation – Appointment or asset requests waiting for staff confirmation.

Action

For appointments or Book-a-Spot assets, click Confirm to confirm the appointment or asset. The button switches to Unconfirm, which you can click to undo the confirmation.

  • Next to Confirm/Unconfirm, click More to reveal extra actions, including check-in, reschedule, cancel, mark as late cancel or no-show, and payment.

When the service is a class or event, click Attendance List to view the attendance list.

  • Next to Attendance List, click More to reveal extra actions including canceling the class, modifying the schedule, or substituting the instructor.

Client Types

Determines which clients to include in the report based on their client type.

Appointments

Determines which appointment types to include in the report.

Start Time Range

Determines which to include in the report based on the specific time range during which they occurred.

Classes

Determines which classes to include in the report.

Events

Determines which events to include in the report.

Service Type

Determines which services to include in the report.

Canceled Sessions

Determines whether canceled services are included in the report.

Staff

Determines which staff members to include in the report.

Locations

Determines which locations to include in the report.
