Business hours are set independently for each location in your business. These hours are displayed on your location’s WellnessLiving Explorer page for current and prospective clients to see. Setting your business hours isn’t required by, and doesn’t restrict, any WellnessLiving functionality.
You can also set multiple open and closed business hours for any given day. For example, you can set hours for your business to be open from 9:00am to 1:00pm, closed from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, and open again from 3:00pm to 7:00pm in one day.
Key tips before you begin
A location’s business hours don’t affect its schedule, which is based on staff availability and booked services. For example, if business hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but a staff member has an appointment at 6:00 p.m., it will still appear on the schedule.
Clients can book appointments with available staff members even if the location is closed. For more information, see Managing a staff member’s working hours.
If you change the time zone for a location, the time for scheduled services will automatically be updated to reflect the changes made.
To configure a location to be open for an entire day (24 hours), set the location’s business hours to open from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Repeat this process if you wish to have consecutive open days.
Set a location’s business hours
To set a location’s business hours, complete the following:
Click the App Drawer button
then click View All > Setup > Locations.
On the Locations page, select the location you want to modify.
Click the Business Hours tab.
For each day of the week, set the business as Open or Closed. Set each open day of the week to the ON position.
For each open business day, enter the hours the business is open. Click Add Hours to set multiple hours for the day.
Click Save.
