There are two ways to hide items from the online store: deactivating and restricting.
If you want to stop selling an item completely, you can deactivate the item.
If you want to restrict an item from appearing in the online store, but want staff members to continue to be able to see the item, you can change the purchase restrictions in the item’s settings.
Deactivate an item
To deactivate an item, follow these steps:
Click the App Drawer then click Setup > Store Configuration.
On the Store Configuration menu, click Purchase Options, Products, or Gift Cards, depending on what kind of item you want to hide from the online store.
Click the item you want to hide from the online store.
Set the Activate Item/Product/Gift Card option to OFF.
Click Save.
Restrict an item
To restrict items from appearing in the online store, follow these steps:
Click the App Drawer then click Setup > Store Configuration.
On the Store Configuration menu, click Purchase Options, Products, or Gift Cards, depending on what kind of item you want to hide from the online store.
Click the item you want to hide from the online store.
Scroll to Advanced Settings. Under Purchase Restrictions, select Only staff can sell this Purchase Option/product.
Click Save.
