You can create or modify gift cards with one or more set dollar values which can be purchased by clients through your store, the Client Portal, the Elevate Staff App, the Achieve Client App, or your Presence custom website. You can select the value of the gift card from the list of set amounts or enter a custom value during checkout.
Key tips before you begin
Custom values can only be added to gift cards when the Allow custom amounts at checkout option is selected in the gift card’s settings. Clients purchasing gift cards through a Presence website will only be able to select a value from the pre-specified dollar amounts.
The minimum image resolution for a gift card is 200×122 pixels and the maximum file size is 20 MB.
Staff members can see the term Dollar Gift Card used under the gift card type. However, the term Dollar Gift Card isn’t visible to clients when they’re shopping in the store. This is important because many WellnessLiving customers aren’t based in places where the local currency is dollars.
Uploading a new gift card image could replace the default image displayed for all gift cards in your store. You can use the image upload process as many times as needed to configure the correct image to display for the gift card for clients browsing your store.
Create or modify a gift card with set dollar values
To create or modify a gift card with set dollar values, complete the following:
Click the App Drawer button
then click View All > Setup > Store Configuration > Gift Cards.
On the Gift Cards page, create or modify a gift card:
To create a new gift card, click Create Gift Card with Set Dollar Values.
To modify an existing gift card, click the gift card you want to modify in the list. Gift cards with set dollar values are outlined in blue.
Enter the required information for the gift card:
Under GIFT CARD TITLE, enter the name of the gift card. This will be the name displayed next to the gift card in the store.
Under AMOUNTS, add or remove set dollar values for the gift card:
To add a new dollar value, click the Add button
enter the amount, and click Add amount.To remove a dollar value, click the amount you want to remove, and in the confirmation popup, click OK.
Under Checkout choose whether custom dollar values can be created at checkout:
Select Allow custom amounts at checkout to allow custom dollar values to be created for the gift card during checkout.
Select Use only predefined amounts at checkout to only allow the dollar values set for the gift card to be available during checkout.
Under MESSAGE TO RECIPIENT, enter the default message for the gift card recipient. You can edit this message in the store when selling the gift card.
Under GIFT CARD IMAGES, upload, replace, or remove an image that will be available for the gift card:
To upload a new image or replace an existing image:
Click the empty image to add a new image or click an existing image to replace it.
Drag-and-drop an image or click to upload an image from your computer.
Adjust the image as needed, then click Save.
To remove an existing image:
Click the image.
Click Delete.
In the confirmation popup, click Remove.
Under Online Store Category, select the categories this gift card should be listed under in your store.
Enter or change the Advanced Settings of the gift card. For more information, see Gift card advanced settings.
Click SAVE.
