Belt settings

You can configure the settings for your belts through your belt’s Settings page. These settings will be applied to belt promotion requirements. The table below provides an explanation of how each setting works.

Description

Reset class attendance requirements after promotion

This option determines how your client gets promoted to the next belt ranking.

When this option is set to ON, only the classes a client attends during their current ranking are counted towards the next promotion.

When this option is set to OFF, a client’s complete attendance history is counted towards the next promotion.

Display promotion criteria to clients in the Client Portal

This option determines whether clients can see the criteria for promotion to the next belt level and their progress toward it on the Client Portal.

When this option is set to ON, clients can see each condition that must be met before they’re eligible for promotion on the overview section of their profile. They can also see how much progress they’ve made toward the different criteria.

Display promotion status to clients in the Client Portal

This option determines whether clients can see when they’re ready for promotion to the next belt level on the Client Portal.

When this option is set to ON, clients who are eligible for promotion will see a Ready for promotion status badge on the overview section of their profile.

When this option is set to OFF, clients can’t see the Ready for promotion status badge even if they’ve met all the criteria to be promoted to the next belt level.
