You can promote the belt level for multiple clients from either the Belts Report or the attendance list for a class or event. This can help save time and effort when multiple clients are ready for a belt promotion.

Key tips before you begin
Clients can only view their current belt level from the My profile tab on the Client Portal.
When you promote multiple clients to a new belt level, the clients won’t receive an automated notification for the promotion. To learn how to manually notify a group of clients about the promotion, see Contacting a group of clients.
Promote belts for multiple clients from the Belts Report
Note: If you have multiple categories for your belts and a client is ready to be promoted in more than one category, they’ll appear multiple times in the Belts Report.
To promote belts for multiple clients from the Belts Report, complete the following:
Click the App Drawer button then click View All > Reports > Clients > Belts.
On the report, filter or search for the clients whose belt level you want to promote.
You can click a summary card at the top of the report to filter for clients who are currently at that belt level.
Select the clients whose belt level you want to promote:
To select a specific client in the report, select the checkbox next to that row.
To select every row on the page of the report you are currently viewing, select the checkbox next to the column headings at the top of the report.
To select every row in the report, select the checkbox next to the column headings at the top of the report and then select the Select all records from all pages.
Click Promote Belt(s).
On the Promote Belts page, review the promotion information for each client.
You can change the promoted belt level by clicking the dropdown under the New Belt column for that client and selecting the appropriate belt level from the list.
Click Promote.
Promote belts for multiple clients from the attendance list
To promote belts for multiple clients from the attendance list, complete the following:
Click the App Drawer button then click View All > Schedule.
On the Schedule, find the class or event for which you want to view the attendance list, as follows:
If you’re using Calendar View, click the class or event.
If you’re using List View, in the Service column, click the name of the class or event.
In the class or event window, click Attendance list. The attendance list is displayed.
Select the clients whose belt level you want to promote:
To select a specific client in the attendance list, select the checkbox next to that row.
To select every row on the page of the attendance list you are currently viewing, select the checkbox next to the column headings at the top of the attendance list.
To select every row in the attendance list, select the checkbox next to the column headings at the top of the report and then select the Select all records from all pages.
Click Promote Belt.
On the Promote Belt page, review the belt promotion information for each client. You can view which belt your client will be promoted to under the New Belt column.
You can change the belt category for your client’s belt promotion by clicking the dropdown under the Category column for that client and selecting the appropriate belt category from the list.
You can change the belt level for your client’s belt promotion by clicking the dropdown under the New Belt column for that client and selecting the appropriate belt level from the list.
Click Promote.
