Before you can use WellnessLiving’s Brivo integration, you must have an account with Brivo and the required hardware installed in your facilities. You must also be set up with Brivo’s software.
Once your hardware is installed and you’ve been set up with Brivo’s software, you’ll need to acquire the following essential criteria from Brivo or your Brivo installation team:
API Key
Client ID
Client Secret
Username
Password
When enabling the integration, these criteria will be used to connect your WellnessLiving account to your Brivo account.
After completing the prerequisite steps, you can get started with Door Access in the Staff Back Office. This will allow you to add a client group to Brivo when you’re creating a client group. Client groups that you add to Brivo will be referred to as access groups in Brivo’s software. This is the primary method of granting door access to clients and staff members once your integration is enabled.
Key tips before you begin
The Brivo integration is a paid subscription service offered by WellnessLiving. The integration fee is separate from the fees that Brivo will charge for a subscription to their software and installation of their hardware.
Disconnecting the Door Access integration won’t end a contract with Brivo, nor will it stop your subscription payments to either Brivo or WellnessLiving. It will only remove the data synchronization with Brivo’s software.
You will need to contact WellnessLiving to ensure the subscription fee for the integration is removed. All account and billing cancellation inquiries related to Brivo must be handled through Brivo’s customer support.
