Question

When entering a client’s information into the Search field in the Top Nav Bar, the client doesn’t appear in the results. How do I find the client?

Answer

There are five possible reasons why a client may not appear in your search results. To resolve the issue, follow the instructions below. If the issue persists after completing these steps, please contact WellnessLiving Support.

The search term was misspelled

Double-check the spelling of the search term and try alternative spellings to locate the client. If the client still doesn’t appear in the results, try searching and filtering the All Clients Report to locate the client.

The client was recently added to WellnessLiving

After adding a new client to WellnessLiving, it can take a few minutes before they appear in search results, reports, and the client list. However, the client will be displayed immediately in the RECENTLY ADDED list when you click the Search button in the Top Nav Bar.

The client is deactivated

If the client is deactivated, they won’t appear in the search results by default.

To include deactivated clients in your search, click the Search options button in the search field and then set Include deactivated clients to ON.

The staff member doesn’t have the right permissions

Your staff role permissions may be affecting which clients appear in your search results.

In your staff role permissions under Clients, if the PERMISSIONS APPLY TO option is set to Only my clients, only clients you’ve added will appear in the results. If the option is set to Clients from my location, only clients from your current location will appear. To ensure that all clients appear, the option must be set to All clients.

The client is a travel member

If your business has an Enterprise subscription with WellnessLiving, the client may be a travel member. Travel members won’t appear in the search results when using the Search box in the Top Nav Bar. To locate a travel member, you must open the All Clients Report and adjust the filters as needed.
