Clients can redeem their rewards points for prizes through your rewards program. Redeemable prizes are automatically saved and can be redeemed by clients through the Client Portal.
Note: Prizes may still need to be manually added to an account by a staff member after being redeemed.
Enable or disable a redeemable prize category
There are four redeemable prize categories:
Free services – Clients can use rewards points for a set number of visits to a specific service.
Discounts or free items in the online store – Clients can use rewards points for a set discount on any item in the online store. This discount can be set to 100% to award clients an item for free.
Custom prizes – Clients can use rewards points for a custom prize created manually by a staff member.
Free memberships – Clients can use rewards points for a free membership with a set duration.
To enable or disable a redeemable prize category, follow these steps:
Click the App Drawer button
then click View All > Rewards > Redeemable Prizes.
On the Redeemable Prizes page, use the OFF
or ON
buttons to enable or disable each category.
Add or modify a redeemable prize
To add or modify a redeemable prize, follow these steps:
Click the App Drawer button
then click View All > Rewards > Redeemable Prizes.
On the Redeemable Prizes page, add or modify a redeemable prize:
To add a new redeemable prize, choose the category click +Add.
To modify a redeemable prize, select the existing prize from the list.
Free services
This category uses the following structure:
In the first field, enter the number of points required to redeem the prize.
In the second field, enter the quantity of the reward a client receives when they redeem the points.
In the third field, select the service type for the reward.
In the fourth field, select which service will be offered as a reward.
Discounts or free items in the online store
This category uses the following structure:
In the first field, enter the number of points required to redeem the prize.
In the second field, enter the value of the discount.
In the third field, select whether the discount will be a dollar-value or a percentage.
In the fourth field, select the type of product, service or Purchase Option that will apply for the discount.
In the fifth field, select which specific product, service or Purchase Option will be offered as a reward.
Custom prizes
This category uses the following structure:
In the first field, enter the number of points required to redeem the prize.
In the second field, enter the name of the custom prize that you’re offering.
Free memberships
This category uses the following structure:
In the first field, enter the number of points required to redeem the prize.
In the second field, enter the number of weeks or months for which the membership will be active.
In the third field, select between weeks or months for the length of the membership.
In the fourth field, select the type of membership that will be offered.
In the fifth field, select the specific membership that will be offered.
Delete a redeemable prize
Note: Removing a redeemable prize will also remove it from all client profiles. This includes removing the record of redeemed prizes from client history. We recommend de-activating rather than deleting prizes. If a redeemable prize is removed after a client redeems it but hasn't used it, the prize is removed from their profile, and their points are refunded.
To delete a redeemable prize, follow these steps:
Click the App Drawer button
then click View All > Rewards > Redeemable Prizes.
Hover over the redeemable prize that you want to remove and click Delete.
In the confirmation popup, click Delete.
