Staff roles determine the permissions staff members have in WellnessLiving. If the default staff roles are not sufficient for your business, you can create new staff roles or modify existing staff roles. For example, you may want to give your front desk employees additional booking privileges, or you may want to create an analyst role that only has access to your reports.
Key tips before you begin
When you modify an existing staff role, all staff members associated with that role will receive the updated permissions immediately. Take note of the staff members that will be affected before making any changes.
Changes made to staff role permissions may take up to five minutes to be applied.
Enterprise Locations are restricted from enabling permissions for staff roles, but can remove permissions from staff roles. To enable permissions, the Enterprise Headquarters must update the staff role and push the new permissions to the appropriate locations.
Staff members at Enterprise Headquarters can only enable staff role permissions that their own role has access to. If their staff role doesn’t include a permission, they can’t enable it for others.
